Very good quality for the money; leather is so expensive and sometimes you don't need expensive leather: just a good, big swath for patching, handle gripping, crafts, etc. I only need to order once every couple of years as this big size for these projects lasts so long. It looks good, lasts, and does the job every time. This is not super thick leather as much as I praise it, so if you were making rough & tumble things like a motorcycle riding leathers or chaps (things like that) this leather would work & look great but I would upgrade to a thicker leather (FYI).

I have a orthotics for my shoes to help reduce foot pain. After couple years of uses, the leather topper begins to show aging affects. Since the insert costs over $400, I want to refresh the insert as best as possible. An ideal replacement leather is thin and soft. This leather piece is perfect. The vendor ship it in a short time and the leather looks a natual fit for my insert. I plan to cut it in size to glue over the original leather. May be I will add another star if it fit perfectly (for saving me over $400).

Exactly as described. The piece received was tanned as expected and a perfectly square piece with uniform thickness and nor unsightly marks or abnormalities. Updated note: I ordered different sizes and colors. This first review was applied to each order, which is fine and doesn't change my review. Other colors and sizes were exactly as described. Great quality and value for what I received. Will order again from this vendor when I need any of their leather products. While these pieces may be remnants from a larger cut, these are not scarps. Properly sized and consistent quality across the entire surface area. All sizes and colors came in at least the size mentioned. Perfect square/rectangle; each in one piece (not multiples to add up to size indicated).
